| VERSE 1:-- Daybreak on a clear August morn, how glad I am that I couldn’t sleep for long. Time to venture to the rugged cliffs to see nature’s spectacular fire! The scene it slowly changes as the giant red orb rises higher! VERSE 2:-- North Sea water ripples a ghostly red as a fiery red spark appears. From the chilly ocean rises a friendly red orb! In the distant East glows the spectacular first light rays of day! The morning tide is high and the golden tinged whitecaps thunder and crash into the limestone coves. Sorrow it lays far away! VERSE 3:-- Time slowly moves on, becomes the great orb a spectacular orange! As I silently watch its pure magic to me, to view the shimmering, twinkling pathway created across the sea! Rises the orb from the water, up into the cloudless sky, one by one the seagulls begin to cry! |
VERSE 4:-- Spectacular golden rays illuminate the coastal summer landscape. Seabirds nesting in the craggy limestone cliffs become aroused by the new golden day! The fresh morning air is saturated by the screams of hovering white flocks! Soon begin the summer insects to drone, sunrise rouses them from their scrubland homes! VERSE 5:-- Full daylight now comes nigh as a blazing fiery ball rises high into the sky! Excited rabbits and field mice begin to run; now the crisp new day’s begun! True lovers are glad they early arose for the spectacular Yorkshire Coast Sunrise rekindles the most dormant sparks! |
