As far as I can tell you As far as I can see The children will remember December ’53.
For Santa Claus came early At least to Aughnacloy And brought with him a present For every girl and boy!
He couldn’t come with reindeer He came by bus instead As soon as he alighted To him all the children fled!
He gave to each a present And he charged a bob a time And really they were worth it For the presents were divine! written on 17th December, 1953 |
