Queen of Bluebells wakes from her nap
Wipes the dewdrops from on her lap
Awakened now from Winter’s bite
She looks around in sheer delight!
In morning air from the mountain tip
The Northern winds quite coldly nip!
But Queen of Bluebells knows she should
Transform this wonderous Bluebell Wood!
She fills all gaps with such glorious flare
Spreading scents and colour everywhere
So all the World will be so amazed
At this gorgeous sight on which they’ll gazed!
When Spring to Summer does once more turn
Sleep, for Queen of Bluebells, will return!
