Blessed Assurance

O Blessed Assurance
That we can know
Without a doubt
That You Who died
to set us free
Surely gave us Liberty!
Rejoice and shout!
O sanctified
For the Holy Lamb
has risen!
We his saints
will evermore
will have peace
on this fair shore!
Great faith given
and grace bestowed
His life for ours
and we do pledge
this reward
to Our Holy Lord!

O Precious Sun
that gives us light
shine on us
So we will be
lamps to the world
And You they see!
Whether our cups
be sipped or not
or overflowed
it matters not
For You love all
with equal grace
If we believe
We will see Your Face!
For it was
promised in 1 John
Believe, accept
that the Christ
has paid
your debt!

I know
I receive
Do not reject
I love You so!

That glorious day
when heaven bound
At Your feet
I will be found!
I will not dance
I will not sing
In awe will not be still
My voice not heard
but I will cry
for I will be there!
I WILL BE THERE!
I WILL BE THERE!
By Your most Gracious Will!
